This morning I converted the software used to maintain this blog to WordPress 2.0. The conversion was virtually painless, with the trouble coming from my mistake of uploading images as ASCII text. Most of the changes are under the hood in nature, so you shouldn’t notice any changes. One of the most noticeable changes is [...]
A few design tweaks to tell you about: Post Titles: I found a nifty little WordPress Plugin called Image Headlines. Simply put, it rocks. I converts the text of your post title (or any other text you desire) into images of any True Type Font you choose. I think it makes the posts look better. [...]
After a lot of work and study, I have converted this blog to WordPress 1.5.2. As you may remember, I tried to do this awhile back but was unsuccessful. However, after taking a look at the new version of Movable Type, I decided to give WordPress an all-out effort. A few things will be broken [...]
The transition to Movable Type 3.2b is compete. After a few problems with the Main Index Template, all now appears to be well. Regular blogging will continue shortly.
I’ll be upgrading the blog software to Movable Type 3.2, beta 5. During this process, the availability of the blog may be spotty until the upgrade is complete. I apologize for the inconveniece, but I just have to have the newest toy to play with!

Black just looks better with red, grey, and white. At the bottom of each entry, I’ve replaced the text [...]
Okay, now I am trying a blogging tool called Movable Poster. It is a free-standing program that should allow me to post to the blog.
I finally got the categories to work when posting via the Newsgator plugin for Outlook. This should make posting a lot easier from work. Hopefully, this will allow me to post a lot more!
This is a test blog via email.
As you’ve probably noticed, I have replaced all of the red in the blog design with blue. I just wanted a change. I’m undecided about whether or not to keep the blue, return to red, or maybe just rotate several colors over a period of time. CSS makes that easy enough, but I just don’t [...]
