Opinion on New Logo
Friday, February 29th, 2008I’ve been playing around with a new graphics program called Paint.NET. It’s free software and does a lot of the stuff that Photoshop does without costing a million dollars. Anyway, here is the logo:
What do you think? Please leave suggestions/comments/ideas in the comments. I’d really like to hear some feedback on this.

2/29/2008 – UPDATE: I have placed the new logo into the theme and I must say I like it a lot. It makes a nice change to the look of the blog.

Although I dislike your subtitle, I think the shading on it looks nice. And while I like the oval shape of the logo, I’m not sure how it will look in place of your current rectangle.
And what if instead of having one kidney on the top, you had two smaller kidneys on either side of the subhead?
Those are my comments.

I know the sub-title irks you; but that is OK because it is supposed to.
Goog natured fun and all of that.
If I decide to use this, it will make the header image a lot bigger, so I might have to slice it up to load fast. I’m thinking about what I can do to make it smaller without losing it’s “presence.”
As for only having one kidney, one is all I need so I opted for one. Also, I wanted something to fill the space above the title, rather than to clutter the bottom with both the sub-title and an image.

Pretty impressive result from a freebie graphics program. I will definitely have to look into it.
The logo looks great!
