Friday, February 29th, 2008

Hillary Clinton, talking to ABC News on February 28th, once again played the “Gender Card” by complaining about how much harder it is for a woman to run for president:

Friday, February 29th, 2008

I’ve been playing around with a new graphics program called Paint.NET. It’s free software and does a lot of the stuff that Photoshop does without costing a million dollars. Anyway, here is the logo:

What do you think? Please leave suggestions/comments/ideas in the comments. I’d really like to hear some feedback on this.

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Aging 1960’s reject Ralph Nader has declared his candidacy for President:

Nader told USA TODAY that he’s running because “American politics is saturated in taboos and self-censorship to a level [...]

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

Do you remember when Willie Nelson was relevant? Me neither, but somebody forgot to tell him:

Lacrosse Players Sue; Cash-Grab Is On!

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

Sometimes greed is so obvious that it doesn’t need to be pointed out:
Lead attorney Chuck Cooper said the private university turned its back on the players to protect the school’s image.
“These young men want an acknowledgment that they were wronged by institutions and individuals that they trusted to treat them honestly,” Cooper said in a [...]

Painfull Choice Ahead for Conservatives

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Last week the one conservative who could unite the Republican Party as well as the conservative base dropped out of the presidential campaign. That left McCain in the driver’s seat, with Huckabee and Paul still taking up space in the back of the pack. Romney’s withdrawal all but seals the nomination for McCain, and conservatives [...]

Electoral College Under Attack Again

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

John R. Koza is upset that none of the presidential candidates visited Illinois during the 2004 election cycle. In order to prevent that from happening again, he wants to institute a policy which would circumvent the Electoral College and have states award all their electoral votes to whomever has the most votes nationwide.
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) [...]

What Is It Going To Take?

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

It seems that the only religion you can be intolerant of today is Christianity:
A HOSPITAL porter was “devastated” last night after he was sacked following a row with a Muslim doctor over a crucifix.
Joseph Protano, a devout Roman Catholic, was a regular visitor to a prayer room open to all faiths at Royal Manchester Children’s [...]
