Clinton appeared on “Fox News Sunday.” Host Chris Wallace, citing his acerbic interview with former President Clinton last year as well as the former first lady’s comments this year, asked, “Why do you and the president have such a hyper-partisan view of politics? … Why do we want another president who thinks so much in terms of right versus left and red state versus blue state?”
After attempting to turn the questioning to declining family income and the loss of healthcare, Clinton said, “Oh, Chris, if you had walked even a day in our shoes over the last 15 years, I’m sure you’d understand. But you know, the real goal for our country right now is to get beyond partisanship. And, I’m sure trying to do my part. Because we’ve got a lot of serious problems that we’re trying to deal with.”
Clinton said she won re-election in New York “with nearly 67 percent of the vote, carrying a lot of the same counties that (President) George Bush had carried just two years before. I’ve been able to get a lot of Republican and independent support in this campaign.”
There are a lot of things to note in the above paragraphs.
First, you’ll notice how Clinton attempted to ignore the question she was asked and try to talk about another completely different topic. When pressed, she finally plays the victim card, telling Wallace that if only he had been through what her and her husband have been thorough the past 15 years, he’d understand. Then she lets the topic drop. She never offered an answer to the question; she basically told Wallace that he couldn’t understand because he wasn’t a Clinton during the past 15 years.
Finally, she talks about how she carried voting districts in New York that President Bush had carried in the 2004 Election, and that means that she appeals to GOP voters. Oh boy, she must be on crack! New York Republicans, for the most part, are RINOs (Republican In Name Only) who use the title to appeal to the few conservatives that live in New York. Rudy Giuliani is a perfect example; pro choice, pro gun control, but fiscally conservative. True Republicans, defined as those who hold conservative values both fiscally and socially, will not only not vote for Hillary, they will actively seek to make sure that no one else votes for Hillary either.
As long as Hillary continues to delude herself like this, as well as push for socialized healthcare, her electability will continue to plummet.
