Quick Takes

Cindy Sheehan calls it Quits: The less said about this, the better. As a grieving mother I can look past a lot of what this person did. However, once she began to use her loss as a stepping stone to fame and fortune I lost all respect for her. Her arguments against the Bush Administration and the War in Iraq were never based upon facts or logically arrived at conclusions; they were all based upon her hatred of George Bush. Maybe she’ll be able to find some peace now that she isn’t worrying about being on television.

Rosie O’Donnell Leaves The View: Again, the less said about this, the better. Rosie’s slow descent into the full-fledged tin-foil hat conspiracy crowd was painful to watch, and even worse to listen to. The show allowed her to become a bully, never letting anyone with a different view of a subject speak uninterrupted, never letting anyone leave without calling them names. Then her writer defaces a picture of Elisabeth Hasselbeck at the studio where The View is shot. That’s real class, isn’t it?
