The results of the last CD Poll are in:

Should Cynthia McKinney be indicted for her alleged assault on a Capitol Hill Police Officer?

  • Absolutely. You know if it were anyone else, they would already have been convicted.: 100% (17)
  • No, she should be allowed to make a deal with the prosecutor.: 0% (0)

Unfortunately, the DC Grand Jury did not have as much common sense as the rest of us. As you are no doubt aware, Ms. McKinney got off scott free, even though she admitted to striking the police officer. In a city that continues to re-elect Marion Barry, I don’t know why I’m surprised.
