Anna Nicole Smith and PETA

I thought that I had heard it all, but I haven’t:

PETA poster

Anna Nicole Smith’s dogs are boycotting pet food maker Iams.

Smith’s protesting pooches are refusing dog food from Iams in a new advertisement for PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

“Marilyn, Sugar Pie and Puppy are boycotting Iams until it stops testing on animals in labs,” the poster reads beneath a picture of Smith, a former Playboy model, and her three dogs.

Putting aside the fact that her dogs really have absolutely no say whatsoever in what food their owner decides to feed them, this is still the most stupid thing I’ve heard in a long time. Then again, PETA is the same group which sponsors “Fish Amnesty Day” and publishes comic book-like fliers for children which depict their mothers and fathers as thoughtless killers of animals.

The least they could do is make those dogs walk in a circle holding up some protest signs.

Judging from that picture, she’s been boycotting some food herself.
