I Get Comments…
Monday, October 10th, 2005Unfortunately, some of the comments left on my blog are from uneducated twelve year olds who have somehow logged onto their parents’ computer. If they are not actually twelve years old, they at least present themselves as such through their use of language. Here is the latest example:
What lind of mental gymnastics is required to not see at this point that the War in Iraq is a thinly-veiled war for Iraq’s oil resources? Everything else the Lush administration said about Iraq in the run-up to this debacle that the U.S. is losing in most embarrassing fashion has been proven to be lies. All except that yes, Iraq really is sittling on a lake of oil as the world’s second-largest oil producer. Iraq is only a front in the so-called “War on Terra” because President Lush made it one. It was 100% a war of choice and a war of aggression, as Iraq was doing nothing to provoke it and was even trying to avoid a war. And 2 and a half years into it and the “world’s only superpower” can’t even control Baghdad’s airport road!! Hilarious!!
Obviously, Jeremy (whose email address is jeremysaysf**kfascism @aol.com, without the asterisks) has been partaking of the liberal kool-aid for quite awhile. Although he claims that the only reason we are in Iraq is to steal their oil, he fails to explain why, after two and a half years, we have yet to take it. He further claims that Iraq was doing nothing to provoke a war, forgetting completely about the fact that Iraq had been failing to follow the terms of surrender it agreed to in 1991 at the end of the first Gulf War. Iraq had also been refusing to allow UN inspectors to inspect their facilities for weapons and other contraband. But, hey, why let a few facts spoil a good piece of propaganda, right?
People like this, who do nothing but drink the kool-aid without question and who believe everything that their friends and Hollywood tell them are going to be in charge one day. As if that wasn’t scary enough, they will probably hold elective office as well. You can thank the liberal public education system, which forgoes knowledge and intellect in favor of self esteem for the lack of critical thinking in today’s youth.

I beg your pardon. I am not 12. I am 36, as my ex-wife was so fond of pointing out to me right before she called my blog sophomoric and chauvanistic.
