Update On The Wife
Tuesday, July 5th, 2005The wife’s surgery went well last Thursday. The doctor made a three inch incision on the front of her right shoulder and removed the bone spur. There was no damage to the rotator cuff, except that it had been greatly irritated, so the doctor did not have to repair it. The wife went back to work today, although she is still in quite a bit of pain and is wearing a sling. The pain should go away in the next two weeks or so, and then she should be able to tell if this procedure rids her of the constant pain that was being caused by the bone spur.
She has asked me to relay to everyone who sent her good wishes that they are appreciated. She wishes to thank each of you for your kindness.

Very glad to hear that all went well. I hope her recovery goes equally as well. Am still looking forward to that night out!

Marty,
I can’t wait to go out too. I really need a drink to compliment all the vicodin I am taking. I don’t get out of the house enough.
